Med Journeys

Med Journeys sends most of its clients to Costa Rica, India, Mexico, and Thailand, but has also cemented relationships with hospitals in Belgium, Brazil, Columbia, the Czech Republic, the Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Malaysia, Panama, the Philippines, Poland, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, and Turkey. Since its establishment in 2005, Med Journeys claims to have sent more than 1,500 patients abroad.

The agency’s standard package includes medical treatment, accommodations during recuperation (with three meals daily), airfare, private transportation in the host country, and premium concierge services. Extra fees are generally charged for tours, companions, extended stays, and added medical procedures. Med Journeys encourages clients to contact physicians directly to check references and ask questions, and arranges conference calls to facilitate ongoing communications about procedures and treatment.
