Owner and head dentist Rosy Peña opened her clinic in 1981 in the central plaza of San José del Cabo. Angel’s Touch now has a staff of six, including a general dentist, dental surgeon, endodontist, orthodontist, periodontist, and odontopediatrist, all of whom can speak English. The clinic sees more than 120 US patients each month.

Services include amalgam/mercury filling removal (price includes tooth-color-matching resin replacement fillings), bridges, crowns (porcelain over metal or 100 percent porcelain), dentures, extractions, fillings, implants (traditional or one-day for laterals only), partials (traditional and ValPlast or Teflon), periodontal work (including gum reduction, osseous treatment, and deep periodontal cleaning), and root canals.

The bottom line still escapes my comprehension: a full dental restoration and 13 days in Los Cabos for two (which turned out to be a second honeymoon) at roughly the cost of dentures. I am left with a deep gratitude to everyone there, they are exceptionally skilled and very caring. Dr. Rosa Pena has me at a loss for words. She works with a surgeon’s precision, but there is an intangible that is immediately noticed. — Eric L., US
