Opened in 2008 as Dubai Healthcare City’s first multidisciplinary hospital, this 210-bed JCI-accredited hospital contains many of the most advanced technologies available in the region to provide accurate, timely diagnosis and extensive treatment options in the areas of cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, oncology, orthopedics, radiology, trauma, and other medical specialties.

With a staff of more than 100 physicians and surgeons and 270 nurses, the hospital served more than 8,600 inpatients in 2010 (with more than 1,200 from US and Canada) and received nearly 100,000 outpatient visits (with nearly 7,000 from US and Canada). The hospital's most frequently performed procedures include coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), arthroscopic meniscal repair menisectomy, laparoscopic surgeries, and oncology surgeries. Specialized health screening packages are available for both men and women. A dedicated representative provides patient support during the screening process.

While English is the official language for hospital services and communications, more than 40 nationalities are represented among the hospital’s staff. A language board is prominently displayed to help patients arrange translation services as needed.
