Established in 1947, Clínica Vitro initially provided healthcare services for all Vitro employees and their families. Vitro is the leading glass manufacturer in Mexico and one of the largest in the world. In 2002 Clínica Vitro opened its doors to the general public.

Now a tertiary medical hospital, Clínica Vitro has a range of medical and surgical specialties and is affiliated with Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston Texas, US, Universidad de Monterrey, and Technologico de Monterrey.

Clínica Vitro has 30 inpatient beds, with a staff of 45 physicians and surgeons and 78 nurses who see 77,550 outpatients and 2,760 inpatients every year. Clínica Vitro offers a robust infrastructure, advanced imaging equipment, and a high-level resolution clinical laboratory. Some of its physicians and staff speak English.
