Imagen Dental
Despite its name, Imagen Dental does more than dentistry. In business since 1994, Imagen has 27 clinics (26 in Monterrey and one in Nuevo Laredo) and more than 200 physicians and surgeons who provide comprehensive dental, optical (glasses and lenses), and auditory (hearing aid) services. Eye surgeries are performed in the operating rooms of JCI-accredited Christus Muguerza Hospital. One of Imagen's ophthalmologists has performed more than 2,000 eye surgeries.
Most of Imagen’s dental work is cosmetic and includes implants, veneers, crowns, bridges, gum surgeries, and root canals. Imagen uses digital radiology, which emits 80 percent less radiation than normal radiology. The dental clinics employ patient education systems in both English and Spanish and an intraoral camera to show patients pictures and videos of their mouths and teeth.
For a patient who needs to return home quickly, Imagen can make Belle Glass Dental Crowns in three hours; these crowns are of the same quality as porcelain but less abrasive against natural teeth.
