IVF Haifa started operation in 1996, and it’s been helping couples make babies ever since. Located near the Carmel Center in Haifa, the clinic offers the most advanced services in assisted reproductive technologies (ART), including intracytoplasmic sperm insertion (ICSI), microsurgical epididymal sperm aspiration (MESA), testicular sperm aspiration (TESA), and blastocyst culture.

In 2009, the clinic's pregnancy rate for women of any age using fresh embryo transfer was 33 percent. During this period, 35 percent of the women receiving IVF at the clinic were over 38 years of age. Comprehensive packages for a standard IVF cycle, including medications, hormonal testings, and IVF procedure are usually around US$5,500.

Senior physician Dr. Shahar Kol says he is especially proud of the clinic’s successful cryobiology laboratory. He and his staff perform over 2,000 oocyte-retrieval procedures a year (and about the same number of thaw cycles).
