Patient exam, Magrabi Eye Hospital Since 1955, Magrabi Eye Hospital has been the largest medical network in the Middle East and Africa for specialized eye care, today serving more than half a million patients and performing 50,000 eye surgeries annually. Magrabi’s inpatient and outpatient surgery center in Dubai, with a staff of eight eye specialists and 39 support personnel, joins more than 30 other centers in nine countries, including eight not-for-profit centers.
Services include refractive surgery, treatment of cornea and external eye diseases, cataract, glaucoma, retina and vitreous related diseases, oculoplasty, pediatric ophthalmology and optometry services (e.g., contact lenses.). The center also is part of the emirate’s Noor Dubai’s initiative which is focused on raising public awareness about eye care and the causes of visual impairment. The campaign includes free treatment of all cases referred directly by Noor Dubai to the Magrabi center.
