Medical team, Samsung Medical Center Dubai Comprising more than 10,000 square feet, Samsung Medical Center Dubai opened in 2010 and was the first Samsung Medical Center outside its Korean headquarters. Opened in collaboration with Index Holding, the center joins more than 40 similar facilities and three specialized hospitals in the Samsung group, consistently ranked highly in Korea for quality and performance in healthcare.
The center recently added services for early cancer detection to augment its other specialized services in the areas of cancer, cardiology, nephrology, urology, gastroenterology, women’s health, and family medicine. Like other Samsung centers, the Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) facility is paperless, operating on a pioneering electronic medical information system.
Patients also will find the center houses the most current technologies for PET-CT, MRI and CT scans, radiology, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy and tomotherapy technology, and diagnostic laboratories. SMC also has an extensive agreement with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) to utilize the support services and facilities in DHCC including hospitals, operation theaters, laboratory analysis, X-rays, and other facilities that will enhance its services. The center also offers an affordable range of health screening packages for clients who must undergo work-related physical examinations.
