Established in 1844, Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) is Singapore’s second largest acute-care hospital, with 1,400 beds.
With strengths in geriatric medicine, infectious disease management, rehabilitation medicine, respiratory medicine, rheumatology, allergy, and immunology, TTSH is also a major referral center for diagnostic radiology, emergency medicine, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, otolaryngology, and orthopedic surgery.
The hospital includes two major specialty centers: one in rehabilitation medicine and communicable diseases, and the other in research on treatments for emerging diseases.
